A stacking chair is simply a chair that can be stacked for storage. They can be found in office furniture stores or online. The chairs are nice because they tend to be firm (with some cushion) and are available with vinyl or tightly woven fabric.  They are not too heavy, so if you need to move them it won’t be too much of an effort. Due to the nature of this type of chair it is much easier to stand up. Armrests are beneficial for balance and improved control when standing up or sitting down.  These chairs are also great to perform seated exercises or simply practicing standing up and sitting down as an exercise in itself.
